Villa de Leyva was founded in 1572 by the name of “Villa de Santa Maria De Leyva”. It is a Colombian town located in Ricaurte's province of Boyacá's department. Its beauty is reflected in its colonial architecture and for its varied rural landscapes that go from the zone of paramo with its births and water reserves up to the desert zone.
